The aim of the project was to evaluate and select the best feedstock for a biomass to energy project. The feedstocks that were reviewed and assesed were chicken litter waste, commercial waste and wood chips. The wood chips was selected based on its carbon footprint and the recovery of energy compared to the other.

Management consulting and advisory for a biomass to energy project using woodchips to recover 4MW of electricity. Supported by facilitating the review and selection of the feedstock to ensure the appropriate limits of the compostion of the biomass are met, to enable the sizing and procurement of the most suitable anaerobic digester plant for the production of gas for power generation.
